Average Men, Unite

So, the Levi Johnston Playgirl pictures have leaked.  A lot of people in the blogosphere are disparaging Bristol Palin’s boytoy, but the fact is that the guy has obviously figured out that his ticket to fame is dropping his pants – in his own bedroom and in ours.  Yeah, he’s no Reynaldo Gianecchini, but in a way it’s kind of refreshing.

While we hopefully will never see – mercifully – anyone like Roseanne’s Dan or Chris Farley gracing the pages of Playgirl in the coming years, it’s still nice to see a slice of regular American man represented in the pages.  Still, the release from Playgirl spokesman Daniel Nardicio is a bit over the top, especially claiming that “[t]he shoot featured Johnston in 3 different scenarios accentuating his natural ‘athletic qualities, movie star looks and natural sexiness.’”  Well, I suppose, but Keanu Reaves he isn’t. Not even Johnny Knoxville.  However, he is quite naturally sexy. I mean, I wouldn’t kick him out of bed.

But we still haven’t seen the peen.  “As to just how much Johnston showed during the shoot, what exact specifics of the shoot are, Playgirl subscribers are going to have to wait for the late November release of the pics on Playgirl.com,” said Nardicio.  Yeah, because we’re all wondering just how big what those specifics are!

Yay, it finally kinda came together. Not the worst schedule I’ve ever had! And I’ll actually still have time to work, opening Mondays and Wednesdays, closing Tuesdays, and do whatever on Fridays cause I don’t have class! :D Plus the weekends…

I’m really excited about urban and regional planning. I wish it was a brick and mortar, but I’ll take what I can get.  I’m just happy that ETSU has an urban studies minor, as this interest sort of developed late in the game for me.  Regional geography of Latin America is for my International Studies minor; I have a focii in Spain, Latin America and the Latin American Diaspora.

I have no idea what the Applied Spanish class is all about, except that there’s a service learning component.  I imagine that’s involved with ETSU’s Language and Cultural Resource Center.  I really need some volunteer work for my resume (that section’s currently empty, except for a few hours at the International Storytelling Center last year, unless I reach way back into 2005) and that it’s tied into my major is a huge bonus.
